Here is a mechanical be that I was asked to create. I took various images and pieced them together to create the bee. The main body and wings of the bee were given the bevel and emboss effect and then the 'joints' added in later. This image was designed to go into one of the chapters of the well-known beekeeping books "The Hive and the Honey Bee," a Dadant publication.
